Women of Himalayan Naari
Vineeta Upreti

Team Lead • Natural Dyeing Unit

Vineeta Upreti

Vineeta Upreti came to Choukori hoping to build a better future for her son. At Himalayan Naari, she found more than work — she found confidence, community, and purpose.

Today, she works in the natural dyeing unit, where Lofty Peaks Yarn’s are dyed in beautiful colors. The process takes patience and care, sometimes 3–4 days for a single wool ball.

Over the years, Vineeta has grown not only as an artisan but also as a woman who now dreams bigger for herself and her family.
